Mahindra Thar 3-Door Split Seats & Interior Customization – Coimbatore Workshop
A Thar 3 Door heading up to Valparai with a full load of luggage runs into the same problem every time — the stock rear seat setup gives you cargo space or passenger seating, never both at once. We build custom split seats and full interior trims for the Thar 3 Door at our Peelamedu workshop, so the vehicle adapts to what the trip actually needs, whether that's a monsoon-season supply run or a weekend convoy to Munnar.
A 60:40 split lets you fold one side down for a spare tyre, ration boxes, or camping gear while the other side still carries a passenger — something the factory bench can't do. On ghat roads where luggage space and seating compete constantly, this flexibility changes how the vehicle gets used day to day.
We build the split seat frame around the Thar 3 Door's factory mounting points, with a reinforced hinge and latch that stays tight over corrugated trail surfaces instead of rattling loose. Interior panels — door trims, dashboard accents, floor matting, roll cage padding — are cut and fitted in-house, matched to your existing cabin colour or rebuilt to a theme you choose.
This customization is built specifically for the Mahindra Thar 3 Door and fitted at our Coimbatore workshop; it isn't a courier-and-fit pan-India product, since the seat frame and mounting work needs to be done against the actual vehicle.
