- Force Gurkha
A Force Gurkha built for serious off-road use needs protection where the terrain actually hits the vehicle.
At Jeep Club India, we modify the Force Gurkha around its intended use rather than simply adding accessories for appearance. This build combines a PRAD4X4 winch-compatible front bumper with PRAD4X4 underbody armour, giving the Gurkha a more purposeful front-end setup and additional protection underneath the vehicle.
The installation is carried out at our Peelamedu, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu workshop, with attention to mounting points, clearances, steering and suspension movement, approach geometry, recovery equipment positioning and underbody protection.
Force Motors lists the Gurkha with a ladder-type C-in-C chassis, four-wheel-drive system, front independent double-wishbone suspension and substantial factory ground clearance. Those characteristics make the platform capable, but an off-road build still needs carefully engineered protection around exposed areas.
We have been building and modifying 4x4 vehicles since 2006. From the workshop floor, our approach is simple: understand how the vehicle will be driven, inspect the existing setup, select the correct hardware, install it accurately and check the finished vehicle before it leaves.
For Indian off-roaders travelling through rocky trails, plantation roads, mud sections and long-distance overland routes, this type of build addresses two practical concerns: front-end recovery capability and protection of vulnerable underbody components.
Whether your Force Gurkha is based in Coimbatore or you are planning a build from elsewhere in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka or anywhere across India, we can assess the vehicle and quote the required fabrication and installation work.
A winch-compatible bumper provides a structured mounting solution for a compatible recovery winch while allowing the front-end equipment to be integrated around the vehicle rather than improvised after installation.
PRAD4X4 underbody armour helps shield vulnerable areas from contact with rocks, stones, debris and rough trail surfaces. Protection is particularly relevant when the vehicle is used beyond normal roads.
A properly installed bumper and armour package should account for suspension travel, steering movement, approach clearance, recovery equipment access and serviceability. The objective is functional integration—not simply making the Gurkha look modified.
We begin by inspecting the Force Gurkha underneath and around the front chassis area.
We check the existing bumper arrangement, chassis mounting points, suspension components, steering clearance, recovery requirements and the intended use of the vehicle.
The PRAD4X4 winch-compatible front bumper is positioned and checked against the vehicle's mounting geometry.
Before final fastening, we verify bumper alignment, tyre clearance, steering clearance, recovery-access requirements and surrounding component clearance.
The PRAD4X4 underbody protection is fitted to the relevant mounting locations.
We check that the armour sits correctly without interfering with critical service points, suspension movement or drivetrain components. Fasteners are checked after installation and the underside is inspected for unwanted contact points.
The completed Gurkha is inspected from the front, underside and wheel-area clearances.
We verify mounting security, steering movement, suspension clearance, bumper alignment and accessibility for future servicing before handing the vehicle back.
For this specific Force Gurkha build, the primary components specified are:
Important: final hardware and fabrication requirements depend on the exact Gurkha variant, bumper configuration and winch selected. We verify these details before quoting the installation.
Jeep Club India's existing product engineering work also uses CAD-designed fabrication, precision forming and engineered mounting practices across its 4x4 accessory range.
Primary vehicle:
Force Motors currently lists both 3-door and 5-door Gurkha variants, with different wheelbases and dimensions, so the exact vehicle variant should be confirmed before installation.
Typical workshop installation: 1 working day
The actual duration can change depending on:
For a complete vehicle build involving additional fabrication or recovery-electrical work, we provide the estimated completion time after inspection.
We don't use a single generic price for every modified Force Gurkha because the final job depends on the vehicle, component configuration and installation requirements.
Our quotation can take into account:
Send us photographs of your Force Gurkha, the vehicle variant, the bumper/armour you want and your intended off-road use. We can assess the setup and provide a clear estimate before the work begins.
Jeep Club India operates from Peelamedu, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, serving 4x4 owners across the region and beyond. Our workshop handles vehicle-specific fabrication, modification and restoration work rather than treating every 4x4 as a standard accessory installation. The business's published location and contact information identify the workshop at Nehru Street, P.R. Puram, Peelamedu, Coimbatore – 641004.
Force Gurkha owners from Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu can visit the workshop for physical inspection. We also work with customers from Kerala and Karnataka, while selected products, components and completed builds can be arranged for customers Pan India.
Jeep Club India was established in 2006, growing from a Jeep restoration operation into a specialist 4x4 modification, fabrication and restoration workshop in Coimbatore.
Our engineers and fabrication team work across classic Jeeps and modern 4x4 platforms, including Force Gurkha, Mahindra Thar, Thar ROXX, Maruti Gypsy, Isuzu, Bolero and other off-road vehicles.
With 18+ years of 4x4 rally, off-road and overland-build experience, our approach comes from working with vehicles in the real world—not simply fitting accessories from a catalogue.
We look at the complete vehicle: chassis mounting, suspension travel, recovery requirements, clearance, weight distribution, usability and service access.
Our workshop philosophy is straightforward:
Build for the terrain. Engineer for the vehicle. Modify with a purpose.
Yes. We can assess the Force Gurkha and install a compatible PRAD4X4 winch-ready bumper, subject to the exact vehicle variant and component specification.
Yes. We can inspect the underside of the Gurkha and install compatible PRAD4X4 underbody protection while checking suspension, drivetrain and service clearances.
The bumper and winch are separate components unless specifically included in the quotation. We can quote the required winch and installation separately based on the recovery requirements.
A straightforward installation can typically be completed within one working day. Additional fabrication, winch installation or existing modifications may require more time.
